Pigment Paste PP-500

Pigment Paste PP-500 is a high-concentration organic pigment dispersion engineered for coatings, inks, and plastics. Its fully wetted pigment surface delivers rapid, even dispersion in both solvent-borne and water-borne systems, cutting milling time while preserving maximum color yield. Dispersion Performance With advanced wetting agents and a carefully balanced grinding process, PP-500 reaches its final fineness in a single pass on standard bead mills. It resists flocculation and re-agglomeration during storage, so batch-to-batch shade remains stable even after long warehouse dwell. Color Fastness Formulated for demanding outdoor and high-heat applications, PP-500 shows outstanding resistance to light, weather, and solvent bleeding. Tinted panels retain over 90% of initial chroma after 1,000 hours of accelerated weathering, making it suitable for architectural coatings and automotive refinish lines. The paste is fully compatible with epoxy, polyurethane, and acrylic resin systems, and can be dosed directly at the letdown stage without additional wetting agents. Packaging and Storage Supplied in 25 kg pails and 200 kg drums with sealed liners. Store in a cool, dry area at 5–35 °C; avoid freezing. Under proper conditions the product remains stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture.
